Heart Walk - June 7th in Denver

Larry and I will be participating in the Heart Walk of Denver on June 7 in celebration of Larry's anniversary of his heart attack. Please keep us in prayer and in your thoughts as I can only imagine this will have a profound impact on Larry.
We hope to raise a modest $500 for the American Heart Association to assist them in further researching one of the deadliest diseases in the country. Please use this link to donate.
Thank you for your support!

Kit has arrived, Puppy madness

We have enjoyed our new bundle of fur in the house. He's full of excitement and energy. I've been able to test the tricks he knows with treats but having him master sit and wait at an intersection is next to impossible. His attention spand doesn't exist. He' more intrigued with the cars passing by.
Though yesterday we made progress. On our walk I took him to a nearby elementary school and ran with him on the extended leash. And we found two soccer balls in the field and I kicked one towards kick and then he pushed it with his nose. Too cute and great sport.

We also did sit and stay tests in the field, which Kit mastered.
Here are a few photos from his first day in Colorado. I will take more pictures today as it is snowing outside and he's having a blast playing and eating the snow. Welcome to CO weather!

Becoming Puppy Parents

I wanted to inform all our friends that I haven't forgotten to update our blog, we have lots of news. Tomorrow we become puppy parents of Gail's American Eskimo puppy, Kitt will be two on April 29. He arrive on the Frontier flight tomorrow at 2:30pm MST and we'll pick him up and then hopefully the weather will be nice to take him for along walk and get him tuckered out for the evening. I'm sure he'll be in playful form with our cat Speika, and she'll probably hide for most of the evening. Fun times ahead.
I'll be sure to post pictures tomorrow!
